I gyfrannu, y cwbl sydd angen i chi ei wneud yw ysgrifennu erthygl, adolygiad, horosgop, cyfweliad, stribed comig neu unrhyw beth arall rydych chi’n meddwl y gallech ddod o hyd iddo mewn papur newydd. Yr unig amod yw bod angen iddo fod mewn iaith wahanol i'r un rydych chi’n ei siarad gartref. Rhowch eich enw, eich oedran, eich ysgol a’r iaith rydych chi’n ei siarad gartref ar ddiwedd eich erthygl.

Bydd y cylchlythyr yn cael ei arddangos yn nathliadau ein diwrnod Llawn Hwyl i’r Teulu yng Nghanolfan Mileniwm Cymru ar ddydd Sadwrn 24ain Medi 2011, 10yb - 1.30yh.

The only condition is that it needs to be in a different language to the one you speak at home. Please tell us at the end of your article your name, your age, your school and what language you speak at home.

The newspaper will be placed on display at our Family Fun Day celebration on Saturday, 24th September 2011, 10am-1.30pm.

Mabwysiadu Dosbarth

Date:
Tuesday, 15 March, 2011 - 00:00 to Friday, 15 April, 2011 - 01:00
Region:
Wales / Cymru

Cynllun yw ‘Mabwysiadu Dosbarth’ sy'n cyfeillio Myfyriwr Ieithoedd Is-raddedig gyda dosbarth tra bod y myfyriwr ar eu blwyddyn dramor.

Bydd y dosbarth ym Mlwyddyn 8 yn cwrdd â’r myfyriwr yn ystod y flwyddyn academaidd eleni, fel bod y myfyriwr yn gallu cyflwyno eu hunain. Byddant yn siarad am sut beth ydyw i astudio ieithoedd yn y Brifysgol, pan wnaethon nhw ddewis ieithoedd, a'r antur y maent ar fin ei chychwyn - eu blwyddyn dramor!

Yn ystod eu blwyddyn dramor, bydd y myfyriwr yn cadw mewn cysylltiad rheolaidd gyda'r dosbarth (nawr ym mlwyddyn 9) drwy e-bostio a drwy anfon cardiau post ac adnoddau eraill yn yr iaith darged. Gyda gobaith, bydd y cyswllt hwn â'r wlad yn dod â'r iaith yn fyw i’r disgyblion, ac yn dangos perthnasedd dysgu iaith iddynt. Hefyd, gobeithio y bydd yn annog disgyblion i ystyried iaith o ddifrif fel opsiwn ar gyfer CA4.

Pan fydd y Myfyriwr yn dychwelyd o'r flwyddyn dramor, byddant yn dychwelyd i'r ysgol a’n rhoi cyflwyniad arall i'w dosbarth cyfaill am eu profiadau dramor, ac yn ateb unrhyw gwestiynau sydd gan y disgyblion.

Fel yr Athro/Athrawes Ieithoedd a’r pwynt cyswllt, byddwch yn cael y cyfle i gwrdd â'ch 'Myfyriwr Cyfaill’ a thrafod unrhyw bynciau arbennig a allai gael eu hastudio er mwyn sicrhau bod yr adnoddau perthnasol yn gallu cael eu hanfon nôl. Fel hwyluswyr y cynllun cyfaill hwn, bydd Llwybrau at Ieithoedd Cymru yn llunio cytundeb, a bydd y myfyriwr yn ei lofnodi, sy’n eu hymrwymo i nifer pendant o ddarnau o ohebiaeth y cytunwyd arnynt ymlaen llaw. Mae hefyd yn bwysig fod yr Athrawon Ieithoedd yn darparu adborth i’r Myfyriwr. Nid yw'r myfyriwr wedi cael eu hyfforddi fel athro/athrawes, ac felly, maent yn gwerthfawrogi arweiniad trwy gydol y flwyddyn o ran yr adnoddau maen nhw’n eu hanfon.

Mae'n bwysig eich bod yn sylwi nad yw'r myfyrwyr wedi cael eu gwirio gan y Swyddfa Cofnodion Troseddol. Fodd bynnag, ni fydd Myfyrwyr byth yn cyfateb yn uniongyrchol gyda'r disgyblion. Yr Athro/Athrawes Ieithoedd fydd yn gweithredu fel y pwynt cyswllt ar ran y dosbarth.

Dim ond nifer cyfyng o lefydd sydd ar gael ar y cynllun hwn, a bydd llefydd yn cael eu dyfarnu ar gyfer pob iaith yn ôl y system y cyntaf i’r felin. Rydym yn gallu cynnig cysylltiadau ar gyfer dosbarthiadau sy'n astudio Ffrangeg, Almaeneg, Sbaeneg ac Eidaleg.

Os hoffech gofrestru i gymryd rhan yng nghynllun ‘Mabwysiadu Dosbarth’, lawrlwythwch y ffurflen gofrestru isod, a’i hanfon yn ôl i routescymru@ciltcymru.org.uk erbyn DYDD GWENER, 15fed EBRILL 2011.

Adopt a Class

Date:
Tuesday, 15 March, 2011 - 00:00 to Friday, 15 April, 2011 - 01:00
Region:
Wales / Cymru

‘Adopt a class’ is a scheme which buddies a Language Undergraduate Student with a class while the Student is on their year abroad.

The Year 8 class will meet the student this academic year so that the Student can introduce themselves. They will talk about what it is like to study languages at University, their motivation for choosing languages and the adventure on which they are about to embark – their year abroad!

While the Student is abroad, they will keep in regular contact with the class (now in year 9) by emailing, sending postcards and other resources in the target language. This contact with the country will hopefully bring the language alive for the pupils and show them the relevance of learning a language. It will hopefully encourage the pupils to seriously consider a language as an option for KS4.

When the Student returns from their year abroad, they will return to the school and will deliver another presentation to the buddy class about their experiences abroad and will answer any questions that the pupils might have.

As the Language Teacher and point of contact, you will have the opportunity to meet your ‘Buddy Student’ and discuss any special topics that might be studied so that relevant resources can be sent back. As facilitators of this buddy scheme, Routes Cymru will draw up a contract which the student will sign committing them to a pre-agreed number of pieces of correspondence. It is also important for the Language Teachers to provide feedback to the Students. The Students are not trained teachers and appreciate guidance throughout the year with regards to the resources that they are sending.

It is important that you note that the Students have not been CRB checked. However, Students will never correspond directly with the pupils. The Language Teacher will act as the point of contact on behalf of the class.

There is limited space on this scheme and places will be awarded on a first come, first served basis for each language. We are able to offer links for classes studying French, German, Spanish and Italian.

If you would like to register to be a part of ‘Adopt a Class’, please download the registration form below and email it back to routescymru@ciltcymru.org.uk by FRIDAY, 15th APRIL 2011.
