As part of our celebrations of the European Day of Languages, we are launching this year’s National Year 7 Spelling Bee Competition. The competition is once again open to Year 7 pupils learning French, German, Spanish and Welsh 2nd language.

We had lots of fun running this competition last year and the pupils who took part also thoroughly enjoyed as well as greatly improving their vocabulary and spelling in a brand new language. We hope that we can work with even more schools this year so that the competition can be as exciting as possible.
