Routes into Languages (RiL) activities are now coordinated by the University Council of Modern Languages (UCML). The RiL website is currently being updated but meanwhile you will still find resources and events for schools in England and Wales which aim to promote the value and enjoyment of language learning.

Can you sing or rap in French? Do you have video skills? Enter the French Pop Video Competition for all UK schools across the 4 countries and Channel Islands, and stand a chance to win one of the 2019 Francophonie UK School Music Awards! This competition organised by the Institut français du Royaume-Uni offers students and their schools to compete in 3 age-group categories from primary to secondary school levels. Entries to be submitted by 5th April 2019. Please read flyer and rules of the competition for more info.
