The Norwich City Football Club educational team is delighted to be able to offer a new programme for school children: the NCFC Spanish Double Club. Devised in partnership with Routes Into Languages East and with the support of Arsenal FC and the Consejeria de Education at the Spanish Embassy, Spanish Double Club is a unique and innovative way of developing an enthusiasm for speaking languages amongst your pupils.
Each session lasts 90 minutes and builds towards making pupils competent at asking/answering basic questions and holding a conversation (which will make them secure at Level 3). Each session is spilt into 2 halves- the first half practising Spanish in the classroom, the 2nd half on the pitch practising languages whilst playing football! The resources contain exclusive images of NCFC players, use recent matches for added excitement, and (best of all) an NCFC Spanish Champion will attend each session and then lead the Spanish themed football sessions for you!
The course is designed to be completely flexible and is suitable for both complete beginners and students who need a bit more support to get to level 3. It could be run as an after-school club, as PPE cover or as part of a normal language lesson in school. And as an introductory offer, it will only cost £780 if you book before the end of September.
