Yorkshire and The Humber

Dissemination Event – 2nd July
This event was an introduction into Routes into Languages, aimed at those interested in promoting languages, in particular teachers from schools and colleges in the region.

East Midlands

Children from schools in Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire attended two internationally themed family language suppers at the end of the summer term.

West Midlands

Student volunteers from the University of Warwick worked with Arden School in Solihull to organise two language days on the University Campus.

South

Routes into Languages in the South has enjoyed a successful first year of the project, with many exciting events taking place throughout the region.

South West

University World News – a fast growing weekly internet-based international higher education newsletter – has highlighted an innovative film project.
