Promoting the take-up of languages and student mobility

LAFTAs 2010 - People's Vote

Region:
National

The Language and Film Talent Awards (LAFTAs) is a UK-wide competition which asks young people aged 13-21 to make two-minute film clips which demonstrate the importance of languages.

This year over 100 entries were received! The regional round of judging has now taken place and a shortlist of clips has been selected from the entries that were sent in.

The shortlist has been put forward to the national judging panel and the winners will be announced at a glamorous award ceremony on 6 July at the British Film Institute in London.

Although, the competition is now closed for this year, you can still get involved by voting for your favourite shortlisted clip in the People’s Vote.
