World Literature Series are one-hour university style lectures aimed at secondary school students. The focus of the seminars is on rendering another voice and worldview found in works written in foreign languages, such as African, Asian, Middle Eastern, European, Oceanian, and American - North and South.

The series provide an excellent opportunity to talk about literature beyond the classroom and expand the students' horizon in terms of ideas and languages that create wonderful and colorful worlds. Within that hour, the speaker typically uses the last ten minutes to discuss studying languages and literature at university.
