An elderly couple’s wish is for their four sons’ care for them in old age. However, the sons have their own lives to lead, they have settled down professionally, are independent and do not want to be burdened with the responsibility of taking care of their parents. Do the son’s learn the folly of their ways and turn over a new leaf?

Led by Samina Butt, Secondary School Urdu Teacher, Haywood Engineering College, Stoke-on-Trent.

Programme: 

This full day study session will equip students with a greater understanding of Urdu language and the culture of the countries in the subcontinent as well as communities in the UK. Students will demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of the different characters and the key theme of the film, family relationships and youth culture. Relevant to GCSE students with listening, reading and writing exercises tailored to meet the needs of the group.
