Hosted by the University of Salford, Centre for Translation and Interpreting Studies with support from the National Network for Translation and the EMT network.
This event is aimed at anyone involved in the teaching of translation to undergraduate students either as a core component or minor component of a modern language programme. The sessions will focus on skills development (including the use of corpora in the translation classroom), the potential of technology and employability. The panel of speakers includes practising translators who will provide insights on bridging the gap between academic study and professional practice from both freelance and institutional perspectives.
There is a charge of £125 to attend this workshop.
