Thisprogramme complements the annual SOMMERFEST & GERMAN TEACHER AWARD hosted by the German Embassy. This year you are invited to Newcastle University to network with other Germanophones and Germanophiles.

The German Embassy issues invites to the actual award ceremony and we would like to extend this to anyone interested in promoting German to join us either directly before or directly after the award ceremony for a 90minute session on:

"RESOURCING AND DEFENDING GERMAN IN SCHOOLS"

The sessions will be facilitated by educationalists passionate about German, drawing on materials from the Goethe Institut, UK-German connection and Routes into Languages. Facilitated by Rene Koglbauer (formerly of ALL), Ian Emerson (Gosforth High Language College), Ellen Taraba (former DAAD Lektorin) and Nick Johnston (Routes into Languages North East).
