French and football combine in an exciting inter-school 6-a-side tournament called Score in French! The aim of this event is to reinforce French learnt in the classroom by applying it in a football context.
Teachers will be provided with resource packs to use in lessons leading up to the event in order to prepare their players for games conducted in French and French alone! Players will be penalised and could even risk being sent off if they use English on the pitch.
Alongside the games, pupils will also engage in quizzes, short plays, a poster competition and other activities - also all in French.
