Year 9 students will spend the day at Portsmouth Study Centre and at Fratton Park to prepare for and deliver two challenges:
- Creating a multimedia video in a target language to attract a striker to the football club
- To create a presentation in the target language to lure the player
The videos will be uploaded to a blog and the one with the most views by 9th October 2015 will win a prize. Presentations will take place on the day of the event in the afternoon.
This event is designed to help students use the target language with increasing confidence, fluency and spontaneity. It will also help prepare them for GCSE and further study.
