The National Year 7 Spelling Bee is buzzing again this year! Students in year 7 are encouraged to take part in this exciting and challenging spelling competition in either French, German or Spanish. There are four stages: class competition, school competition, regional final and national final. The first two stages take place in your school, whilst the regional final will be held at the University of Brighton on April 25th 2014. Dates and location for the national final will be confirmed in due course but this stage usually takes place in July.

The Spelling Bee has its own dedicated website: www.flsb.co.uk where you can register your students, download practice apps or mobile phone apps and access the teachers' pack. Over 4,000 students from the South East participated last year and we are hoping to exceed that number this year!
