Manchester Metropolitan University Humanities Subject Café

Tuesday 23rd October 2012, 5.00-6.30pm

Join us for coffee, cake and a chat about the courses offered within the Faculty of Humanities, Languages and Social Science at Manchester Metropolitan University.

We would like to hear from you about what is going on in schools. What are the barriers you are facing and how can we help? What events would you like us to run for your students? What CPD courses might you find useful?

Representatives will be present from the following departments: English, History, Politics and Public Services, Philosophy, Languages and Information, Technology and Communications (which includes subjects such as Digital Media and Communications, Research Skills and Web and Learning Environment Development).  Come along and find out more about the degrees we offer and what options your students might choose if they want to study in the Faculty of Humanities, Languages and Social Science at MMU.

Every teacher that attends will receive a free ‘Why Study…?’ subject talk for your school. These will be delivered by our trained Student Ambassadors and usually cost £50.

This event is free to attend and refreshments will be available from 4.30pm.
