Have you (or your pupils!) ever wondered about a career in translation? Are you curious about what being an interpreter might entail?

Routes into Languages North East are delighted to invite sixth-form, undergraduate and postgraduate students from across the region and beyond to Meet the Translators and Interpreters, a half-day programme comprising a keynote presentation from Director of the National Network for Interpreting Helen Campbell, followed by workshops and Q&A sessions with translators and interpreters from a diverse range of fields.

Students will have the opportunity to learn about the exciting opportunities within the fields of translation and interpreting – from studying to working – with the chance to speak to translators, interpreters, teaching staff and students currently studying Translation and Interpreting at university level.
