Routes into Languages South is pleased to annouce that the annual Love Languages? Live Languages! conference for students in years 10-12 will be running again this year!
This one-day event will take place on Friday 8th March 2013 between 10.30am (10am registration) and 2.30pm. It will aim to showcase to students the importance of foreign language learning; how languages can be studied at university and the different types of career and job pathways open to those with language skills.
Places are currently limited to a maximum of 12 per school/college so book now to avoid disappointment! Please note that we do operate a cancellation policy for this event, whereby a charge of £5 per place booked will be applied if reservations are cancelled after Friday 22nd February or if there are any no-shows on the day. You can expect to: hear short presentations from those who use languages in their jobs; take part in a 'market place' session where you can talk to university tutors about studying languages and languages professionals about different jobs and careers; listen to current students talk about their language experiences.
