Suitable for students in years 10-13
This afternoon workshop offers students studying languages to GCSE, AS or A-level (or equivalent) the opportunity to explore the wide range of careers open to those with a degree in languages. Participants will work with academic staff and current undergraduates from the Languages Departments at King’s, as well as with experts from Careers and Employability. There will also be the opportunity to talk to former students, now successful in very different worlds of work, and to gain experience of further study in a subject-specific sample teaching session.
The workshop will be of interest to all those intending to take their study of languages to the next level, and who would like to find out more about why languages graduates have some of the highest employability rates.
Organized by the Departments of French, German and Spanish, Latin American and Portuguese Studies.
