Intensive Language Day for AS students (free event)

Wednesday 29th January 2014

Time:  10:00 am – 3:15 pm

Venue: University of Birmingham

Languages: French / German / Spanish

Topics: Popular / Youth Culture (e.g. cinema, music, TV, advertising, technology)

Other information: FREE event, Refreshments available, but students bring a packed lunch. Please note that if your students are registered and they do not attend, there is a cancellation fee (£15/student)

Maximum number of participants in total: 100

Staff involved: Sophie Gavrois, Martine Delbauve, and PGCE students in MFL.

  • Session 1 : Interactive activities or carousel of activities led by student teachers in each language on Popular / Youth Culture (e.g. cinema, music, TV, advertising, technology)

11:30 – 12:30

  • Session 2 : Interactive activities or carousel of activities led by student teachers in each language on Popular / Youth Culture (e.g. cinema, music, TV, advertising, technology)

12:30 – 13:00

       Lunch

(Please bring packed lunch or purchase on campus. Drinks will be provided)

1:00 – 2:00

  • Session 3 : Interactive activities or carousel of activities led by student teachers in each language on Popular / Youth Culture (e.g. cinema, music, TV, advertising, technology)

2:00– 3:00
