The University of Brighton invites Year 7-13 German students and their teachers to visit a traditional German Christmas market. Students are asked to prepare in advance a short performance in German (a song, short sketch, poem, reading etc). Following the performances students will be free to browse the market stalls, which will include a Lebkuchentisch, a Strohdekorationentisch, a Wunschsterntisch and a Würstchentisch among others. Students will be given "currency" to spend at the stalls but must ask in German! Prizes will be awarded for the best peformance and best use of German.

Up to 20 places per school will be allocated until we have reached the maximum registrations for the event. Please note how many places you would like to book when you register.

Places are free but a cancellation charge of £5 per place booked will be charged if not cancelled within two weeks of the event or if you do not turn up on the day.
