The Film and Culture Event for Languages (FACE) Day is open to language students in Years 10-11 and will be held at University ofg Liverpool. It is designed to highlight the benefits of learning languages through a Careers and Languages talk, and the fun way in which languages can be taught, with a Languages and Film session. Activities will also include a language taster, to show how languages can be taught at university and highlighting the diverse range of language study options available at a higher level.

The event is hoped to boost students’ enthusiasm for language learning so that they continue with their languages to A Level and beyond. This is an excellent opportunity to show language students the variety of languages on offer; and the variety of fun ways students can learn languages.

This event has a small charge and we are asking for a nominal fee of £4 per pupil to cover some of the costs.

To book: please complete and return the attached booking form to routes@mmu.ac.uk before Friday 4th April 2014.
