We are currently organising a Teachers’ Symposium and would welcome any teachers who are interested in the community languages of Urdu, Arabic, Mandarin Chinese or Italian. This event will bring together mainstream and supplementary schools, to discuss matters affecting the teaching and learning of community languages.

The symposium will take place in the Geoffrey Manton Building, in room 228. This building is located on MMU’s All Saints campus . Click for directions on how to get to the campus.

If you would like to join us for an informal chat about how to raise profile of these languages, then please join us for discussions over coffee and cakes. In order for us to provide sufficient refreshments, please register your interest in this event by emailing us at: routes@mmu.ac.uk
