The Widening Participation and Outreach scheme at Royal Holloway, University of London will pilot a Modern Languages Mentoring programme during the 2009-2010 academic year.  The project will involve selected schools from the Berkshire and Surrey areas and will provide 6th form students with one-to-one and group mentoring sessions led by postgraduate and experienced undergraduate students.

The programme will offer a series of interactive mentoring sessions in French, German and Spanish, and Beginners level classes in German and Italian. Students will be introduced to the rich and fascinating literary and popular culture of these European countries.
