Then get involved in our national Spelling Bee competition. Open to Year 7 students in England and Wales, the Spelling Bee is a fantastic opportunity for students to learn new vocabulary, develop new skills, build confidence and be inspired to further their language interests.
In essence this exciting competition takes pupils through a journey from class level to national level, learning a bank of 50 words at each stage. The competition is open to new learners of French, German and Spanish as well as Welsh 2nd language for our competition in Wales.

Another year has flown by and, believe it or not, it’s once again time for us to launch the Multilingual National Spelling Bee Competition in Wales. We are now welcoming registrations for pupils in year 7 from all secondary schools in Wales.
