What the placement would involve:
Our translation and interpretation agency, certified under the ÖNORM 15038, is one of the leading providers in its branch on the Austrian market. With offices in Vienna and Graz, a team of seven members and a pool of qualified and professional translators from around the world, we deliver day in and day out to renowned customers in this country and abroad.
For our translation office in Graz we are looking for:
A committed intern
Requirements:
Graduate of Translation Studies, or of another specialised course and at least two years experience in translating. Excellent knowledge of the usual word processing programmes. Trados or equivalent desirable.
Time period:
Fulltime, to be negotiated on an individual basis, but for a minimum of five months.
Duties:
Supporting the project managers with distributing tasks among translators and returning assignments back to the customers, proof-reading, short translations, administrative and marketing support.

Prospects:
After the internship you will take on translations independently, especially in the areas of tourism, economy and law. In the long run we are interested in training you to become our contact person abroad and our liaison officer for our customers in other countries.
