Summary
For Year 8 pupils to inspire them to continue with languages beyond Year 9!
You and your pupils will visit Northumbria Campus for a morning to take part in a suite of activities.
The event runs 10.00-12.00.
Due to the popularity of this event schools are asked to limit places to 30 pupils; early booking is essential!
Programme
This follows a similar format to the Year 9 Roadshows with 4 x 30 minute sessions presented in 'carousel':_
- Q&A session with students from Northumbria University on studying languages and living abroad
- INteractive online quiz
- Taster session 1 in a Less Widely Taught Language (e.g. Italian, Chinese, Polish)
- A SECOND taster session in a LWTL.
This event is free! However, any short notice cancellation for which we cannot find a replacement school, will incur a fee of £25.00.
