The school will recruit a group of 10 to 15 pupils from all year groups to act as Language Leaders. As part of becoming a Language Leader, pupils will meet on a monthly  basis following an all-day session at SOAS on the week starting on the 18th of October to define their goals and draft a calendar of activities for 2009-2010. It is expected that among these activities, Language Leaders will include visits to feeder primary and partner secondary schools to raise the profile of Modern and World languages as well as within EGA. Activities such as film screenings, workshops and master-classes will be available to Language Leaders through Capital L.

Language leaders will follow the Learning to Lead model and will be supported by 3 Capital L Ambassadors and have one nominated teacher from the school. The team will use their school's Virtual Learning Environment as a platform where all information can be shared, plans entered and the calendar up-dated. Student Ambassadors will be CRB checked and trained.
