70 years on, SOAS are running a workshop around Indian Independence. It is aimed at students who are interested in languages, history and improving their debating skills.
Students will have a lecture on independence and the aim will be to answer the question 'Was Indian Independence unique or was it part of a wider phenomenon?'
The workshop will include:
- Indian language tasters
- Workshops with current students to learn more about university
- A debate
This event is open to years 9, 10 and 11.
Lunch is provided.
